Hey! I’m Tay!

And I want you to know I’m just like you! I play many roles in my life. I’m a full time pharmacist, entrepreneur, podcast host, travel and lifestyle blogger, product creator, medical/business consultant, and owner of a travel agency!

But I’m also a busy mom to three kids, a sister, and friend. Im a nut on my personal Facebook page (especially when it comes to dating) but hate to post on my business page because I’m an Introvert! I know you don’t believe but I am! I’m a fan of life hacks, especially when it comes to money and time because I feel I let both slip through my fingers easily!

And if I’m being brutally honest, I’ll tell you that for much of my adult life, I’ve had a picture perfect display for the world until my divorce. But it was that experience that has me thriving today!

I went to college and followed my dream of becoming a pharmacist from my dream school, Florida A&M University’s College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Married while in college, graduated, had three kids. I mean I had a six figure job, home, husband and kids and no clue that after twenty years part of it would end. Listen that divorce took 2 years and ended with a trial. And while I’m on the other side of it, those two years were a dark time for me. It was emotionally, mentally, physically, financially taxing on me and my kids!

But the one thing I’ve learned in both life and in business is that there are no mistakes, only lessons. My pride will not be the death of me and my ultimate goal is to not have it all but to be able to balance it all!

How it all began…

I became a travel agent just so my kids and I could start traveling and not be home and reminded of the damage that was once there. I felt I was able to travel as a kid and wanted to give my kids the same. Me becoming a travel agent in the middle of my lengthy divorce was going to help alleviate the costs. We did a lot of staycations here in Orlando. We definitely toured all theme parks and stayed at their resorts to take in the full experience. But travel really took off once the divorce was finalized! My divorce took twenty-four months! Because of that I chose to take 24 trips to celebrate my “Emancipation” and live again! I got a logo made, took my kids on trips, did a few girlfriend trips and then…money started coming into my account! It was at that moment I was like whoa?! I can make some real money?! My next obvious business move was to be open to the public and get money from multiple people. But them COVID. Y’all weren’t going anywhere! But I was. I was still traveling but also decided to build my business the proper way during this “downtime.”

Blogging-

Now why was I blogging too? Because a lot of women reached out to me when I started posting travel pictures. Some of y’all were scared to be single parents with kids on an international trip. Some of y’all forgot I was once married and still knew how to plan a couples trip! (I do it often for my sister and brother-in-law) some of y’all just wanted a break from an overwhelming life. And you saw it was attainable because I showed you how just a weekend in the Carribean would change your life and have you refreshed, renewed, and refocused! I chose blogging as a way to connect with you because I could express myself easily on my personal page and not Mark’s social media outlets. But it’s about to spill over…

I’ve heard your cry…

I’m always inviting friends and family on trips with me. The two things that I get as excuses to not join me is not having enough time or money! I get it! Those two things are truly important to have in order to travel, enjoy the trip, and also return from the trip with no regrets. I get it! I’m not a travel influencer on a trip every month. I try to space out my Tay’s Travel Club trip to a trip per quarter so I can save money and PTIO at my full-time job.

Second, and even more importantly, I’ve realized that life doesn’t have to be complicated, nor do they have to be perfect to be effective. In fact, the simpler you can make things for yourself, the better off you’ll be, even if that means cutting a few corners here and there. I believe in progression over perfection and rewarding myself constantly to move forward.

This website is about earning money on travel, self -care and reconnection for yourself to make sure you become that It-Girl, hot spots in Orlando, Fl to visit, and most importantly our group travel!

My mission is to provide small group travel to women with full time lives but needs to take a break from it all and then come back with new life bonds and fresh outlook on daily life! I want her to remember if not find that spark in her that makes her sit and think “I did that,” or “I am that girl!” I’d love to share in that experience with her or help her share with her girlfriends!
